Early in the morning on April 9, 2013 in the village of Velika Ivanca, about 50km from Belgrade, Ljubiša Bogdanović murdered 13 family members and neighbors before committing suicide. Later that day residents of the village returned home beyond a police cordon and past the crime scene.
